Fly is "the honest observer": it listens in on a meeting, turns what's said into a recap (decisions, action items and ideas), and remembers context across meetings. This page explains exactly what is captured, who processes it, and the control you have.
Audio is streamed live to a transcription service and turned into text on the spot. None of the transcription providers retain the audio after transcription — afterwards only the text transcript exists.
Transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API (through our server) for analysis into a recap. API data is not used to train AI models.
Without an account, meetings live only in your browser. With an account, your saved meetings and your memory profile are stored in our database and are accessible only to you.
Recording is only fair when everyone knows. Fly shows a consent screen at the start of a meeting that is meant to be shown to everyone present, and a participants page explains their rights and offers a correction/removal request form.
The third parties that process data on Fly's behalf, and what each one does:
| Provider | Purpose | Data processed |
|---|---|---|
| Deepgram | Speech-to-text transcription | Live audio stream (not retained after transcription) |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Analysis of the transcript into a recap | Meeting transcript text |
| Supabase | Account, database & storage | Email, saved meetings, memory profile |
| Cloudflare | API proxy (keeps keys server-side) & rate limiting | Transcript text in transit; anonymous usage counters |
| Resend only if reminders are on | Sending open-task reminder emails | Your email address + open-task summary |
Browser-based transcription (Google or Apple, when used instead of Deepgram) processes audio on-device or via the browser's own speech service; no audio is retained.
Reminders are off unless you switch them on (Settings → Your data). When enabled, Fly may email you at most once every two days listing your open tasks. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver that message — never for marketing — and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Under Settings → "Your data" you can export everything as one JSON file, set automatic deletion (30/90/365 days), and permanently delete all meetings and your memory profile. Deleting a meeting removes it locally and in the cloud.
