Audio is streamed live to a transcription service and converted to text on the spot. By default that is Deepgram; if Deepgram can't connect, your browser's built-in speech service (run by Google or Apple) takes over. None of these parties store your audio after transcription — afterwards only the text transcript exists.
Transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API (via our server) for analysis. API data is not used to train AI models.
Without an account, meetings live only in your browser and are gone when you close it (unless you save locally).
With an account, saved meetings and your memory profile are stored in our database and only accessible to you. Delete any meeting from the archive whenever you want.
Your data, your control: under Settings → "Your data" you can export everything as one JSON file, set auto-deletion, and delete everything permanently.
Email reminders are off unless you switch them on. When enabled, Fly may email you at most once every two days listing your open tasks. Your email address is then shared with our email provider (Resend) solely to deliver that message — never for marketing — and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Informing the room: Fly helps you with this — the consent screen at the start is made to be shown to everyone present. Recording works best, and is only fair, when everyone knows.
Full explanation for meeting participants — what is captured, all processors, and a correction/removal request form: the participants page. Full privacy policy & processor list.
